I just don’t know whether or not this could ever be made in my lifetime, but here’s my revised, tweaked plot or so for my fan project, passion project, and intended [animated] epic masterpiece, Dexter’s Odyssey:
Celebrating her birthday one day, Dee Dee held a grand party for everybody including her friends Mee Mee and Lee Lee as well her brother Dexter, but little does she know that she had neglected to invite an evil transsexual boy genius neighbor that she doesn’t like: Susan ‘Mandark’ Astronomenov, who, offended at Dee Dee’s rebuff, warns the guests at Dee Dee’s birthday party that if Dee Dee doesn’t accept his romantic advances, he will launch against the world and Dexter’s Laboratory a mighty and terrible war machine that will bring gloom and doom to all things whole and good, and that was before he and his sister Lalavava fled to the faraway land of Astronoma.
Later, when Dee Dee barges into Dexter’s Laboratory either to say “Hi, Dexter!” or to push any button in his laboratory, Dexter becomes frantic, lashes out, flies into an absolutely wild rage, and goes on this animalistic rampage through the neighborhood, brutalizing his neighbors and causing an epic commotion before storming off on his own to the world beyond his laboratory and neighborhood.
Dexter’s mom and dad panics, not only thinking they have lost their now-berserk son, but also foreseeing an impending invasion by Mandark and Lalavava, who, meanwhile, had made a deal with the chieftain of the Astronomean warlords to secure a high level of power for himself in exchange for carrying out his plans for all out war.
Although Dee Dee’s parents decides to seek the advice of a good Shangharan sorceress that resides at the summit of Mount Zeus, the tallest mountain of the nearby Prometheus Mountains, in order to know where Dexter now was, the mom and dad are a little long in the teeth (not to mention shocked, saddened and even heartbroken by Dexter’s neighborhood rampage or so), so they decided to send their daughter Dee Dee to meet with the Shangharan sorceress in her mountain stead and not to mention, to retrieve Dexter and bring him safely back home, but Dee Dee also demands that her friends Mee Mee and Lee Lee accompany her.
Traversing through a variety of far off distant exotic lands and despite traversing through a wilderness where herds of dinosaurs still roam and predatory dinosaurs still hunt in packs, Dee Dee and her friends persevere on their quest to retrieve Dexter, who, in a series of misunderstandings and accidents, and in the meanwhile, found himself in the presence of, and befriends Professor Utonium and his three famous creations, The Powerpuff Girls (Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup) of Townsville [which Dexter traveled to], from whom Dexter learns in order to finally control his temper and overcome all his other childhood fears and qualities.
When Mandark finally breaches Shanghara’s mighty Great Wall located on the eastern border to the west of Astronoma and began his epic march to the heart of Shanghar Country, where the Emperor of the Shanghar [a Japanese or Chinese-inspired people] and his Imperial capital city resides, Dee Dee, Mee Mee, Lee Lee, The Powerpuff Girls, Professor Utonium, the great nations and tribes of the world, and, despite all their very best efforts, Dexter and The Powerpuff Girls’ archfiend Mojo Jojo, ended up working together in a great series of titanic human events to ensure that Mandark’s war plans fail, that the Astronomean warlords and their great chieftain are defeated along with Mandark, that the very world peace and (before you say The Lion King) the [very] great circle of life that Mandark has disrupted and upset be completely restored to the world, and that Dexter returns home safe and/or live happily ever after…
This may be for some fan project or fanfic or whatever, and it may or may not be terrible, but:
